Jared Blue

Community Life Pastor

Jared grew up in Michigan and attended Huntington University in Huntington, Indiana where he received a B.S. in Recreation Management. He moved to California in 2007 and worked as a Behavior Specialist in a non-public school for twelve years. Jared has recently started working towards his M.A. in Theology from Talbot. He has been attending Hope Chapel for the past twelve years and joined the Pastoral staff in November of 2019 as the Community Life Pastor.

Jared is passionate about his calling to serve Hope Chapel through the ministry of MiniChurch. He believes MiniChurch offers community, accountability, and discipleship which are essential to spiritual growth. He also believes that having strong, growing, and Christ-centered MiniChurches will ultimately result in our entire church body being more equipped to reach the South Bay and beyond with the Good News of the Gospel. Jared and his wife Christina met at a Hope MiniChurch and have been married for eight years. They both enjoy serving together in various ministries and special events at Hope Chapel. Jared and Christina have two daughters, Jordan and Jaylen. In his free time, Jared enjoys spending time with his family, running/working out, and supporting all the athletic teams from the University of Michigan. Go Blue!
