Women's In-Home Bible Study

Category: Women's

Self-paced or join an online discussion group

Location: In-Home Study

Meets: Week of May 4th - Week of June 15th, 2020

We invite you to join a church-wide ladies Bible study in the book of Philippians. No workbooks needed as we will supply you with questions for your own “in-home” study. Then, if you are not already in one of our existing Bible studies, you may join an online small discussion group through Zoom. The Zoom meetings will be offered on a variety of days and times. They are not mandatory, but are a great way to see familiar faces and meet new friends! Or, if you’d like, gather a friend or two on your own and study together. Either way, you will never regret studying God’s Word!

Register via the link below and start reading the book of Philippians. Read all four chapters as a whole letter, as many times as you can, to really get the feel for what we will be studying. We will be sending questions out at the beginning of each week.

The end result of this study, hopefully, is threefold. One, you will learn important tools for studying the scriptures. This will help you in building confidence for a lifetime of reading the Bible. Secondly, the apostle Paul wrote this letter while he was in prison. There is so much we can learn from him on how to maintain joy in all situations. Lastly, it is our desire that you make relational connections as sisters in Christ, to build and encourage each other as we walk and grow together. We hope you will join us in this seven-week journey.

No Hope Kids Program available.

2020 Hume Lake Camp - Jr. High

Category: Youth

Leaders: Pastors Nick Turner and Emily Jones

Location: Hume Lake Christian Camp

Meets: Sunday, August 2nd - Saturday, August 8th, 2020

Come join us at Hume Lake this summer as we look at the character of God through the eyes of Moses, the man who spoke to God “face to face.” Moses understood that God’s love for His people cannot be separated from His holiness, nor His holiness from His justice, and that His sovereignty cannot be divorced from His goodness and eternality. Cultural relativism today often influences us to define God using our own imaginations; we create a god according to our image, rather than recognizing that God made us in His. But the one true God who “is the same yesterday, today, and forever” reveals to us the beauty of His character within His word.

EXODUS 34:6-8 (THEME VERSE) “And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.” Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped.”
